Save LS26 Homes March Attracts Wide Audience

Todays planned march to draw media coverage to the LS26 Save Our Homes campaign proved a great success with media coverage from Look North and Radio Aire amongst many that witnessed the march from Spinghead Park, down Commercial Street before finishing at the Maypole where councillor Karen Bruce and campaign chair Cindy Readman thanked those that had turned out to show their support.

The march was a great spectacle with the NUM showing their support with two fantastic banners as well the Rothwell and Elmet Labour party.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

• Visit www.saveourhomesls26.org for the groups news and planned activities.

Add an objection to the Leeds City Council Planning Application Portal by visiting publicaccess.leeds.gov.uk/online-applications/ and entering  the reference number 17/06933/FU or simply click this link.

• Contact our local MP Alec Shelbrooke, his contact details can all be found on
www.alecshelbrooke.co.uk or write to him at the House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA.

• You can also contact the Housing Secretary James Brokenshire or the Prime Minister Theresa May via social media or again by post.

The more publicity the group receives the better and it will only take a few minutes to add an objection to the planning application or contact any of the above members of parliament.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, so if you can, please help save the LS26 homes.
