Rothwell Carnival Radio was on the air from 10 - 18 July, on 87.7 FM. This is Rothwell's very own radio station run by students of Radio Worldwide. Quite often we get asked, how come Rothwell Carnival Radio is not broadcasting all the time? Well, to do this all year round we would need more volunteers and a lot more funding to begin with. To be on air for just over one week is all we can cope with at the moment. But who knows, Rothwell might be able to get its very own Community Radio Station some time in the future.

If you were one of our regular listeners this summer, we would really love to hear from you. Please let us know what you liked best. We know there are quite a few areas where we can improve - but after all, this was part of a training course, which means that making mistakes is part of the learning experience.

This year we also had a couple of visiting DJs, and a special thank you goes out to Don Fletcher, Dave Hughes from Dave Sound, and Josh, Nick and Dave, who all made a fabulous contribution in front of the microphone. If you would like to be involved next year, please don't hesitate to contact us.
