Learn how to use simple signs to communicate with your baby or toddler.

From November the parents and carers of Rothwell can now attend these well-reputed, fun classes.

Have you ever wondered what your baby is thinking? Or gone through a checklist to try and find out why baby is crying? Well, look no further.Signing with babies builds on their natural ability to use gestures such as waving and pointing.

We use British Sign Language (BSL) signs as part ofthe original, hugely successful, world wide SIGN with your BABY ™ Program (www.sign2me.com ).Parents and carers are taught how to use the signs and incorporate theminto the babies’ lives. This is done using a variety of methods such as songs, stories, games and puppets, which keep the babies entertained during the classes, or ‘mesmerised’ as one parent described it!

Classes are taught by experienced, qualified teachers and signers. Babies Can Sign will be working with Rothwell Baptist Church, HealthVisitors and Community Groups to bring the magic of signing to the families of Rothwell. Classes will start at Rothwell Baptist Church at the beginning ofNovember.
