Lots of fascinating work goes on behind the scenes at St Aidan’s, all to help make it the best it can be for nature and wildlife. The warden work programme changes with the seasons and includes everything from digging lovely, muddy scrapes for waders, to counting lapwing nests on the wet grassland.
On this exciting behind the scenes trip, you will head out on a guided walk with one of the wardens to find out more about the work that goes into managing the different habitats across the site.
The walk should last approximately two hours; please dress for the weather with good footwear.
Hopefully you will already have booked your places for this, but if not you can check availability by visiting https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/st-aidans-behind-the-scenes-warden-walk-tickets-42783822565
