HEALING SESSIONS
THURSDAY 8TH MARCH 2PM – 5PM

Sharon O’Brien is a Meridian Energetics practitioner and reiki master and will be offering treatments in the Royal Oak room at the Rivers Meet.
A Reiki treatment is deeply relaxing and takes approximately 45 minutes at a cost of £24, it aids in recovery from illness and injuries, reduces pain, stress and increases well being.
Meridian Energetics is a revolutionary energetic healing modality which works on meridians in the etheric body to open them and put it into a state of balance, gentle touch is involved in several techniques to remove blockages or old residues in the etheric body to help release repressed emotions, non-productive thought patterns and habits such as addictions etc which when released heals problems in the physical body.
A treatment takes around 1 hour 15 minutes with additional follow up time if needed,

METHLEY YOUTH CLUB
THURSDAY 8TH MARCH 6.30PM – 8.30PM

Just to remind you all that the Methley youth club runs every Thursday evening,  and is a great place for your children to hang out in a safe environment, have some fun and chill out with their friends.
The club is for age 11+, with entry only 50p! There will be music, pool, lots of games to play and a tuck shop. The club runs every Thursday evening.

MOTHERS DAY STAY AND PLAY

Just a reminder for the mums out there that this Friday sees the Mothers Day Stay and Play session at the nursery.

Wanting to adopt or foster, but worried that being LGBT might be a barrier?
Find out more about fostering or adopting children and young people in Leeds with Leeds City Council at the recruitment event this Saturday.
As part of national LGBT fostering and adoption week (5-11 March), they are continuing with their drive to recruit more LGBT carers to Leeds City Council.
You’ll have the opportunity to talk to some of the friendly fostering and adoption advisers and some existing carers to find out their experiences.

ANIMAL AIDERS FIRST AID COURSE
SUNDAY 11TH MARCH 10AM – 2PM
Oulton Institute, Quarry Hill, Oulton, LS26 8SX

Hosted by Hydro Paws Ltd and Clever Dogs Training School Ltd, Animal Aiders First Aid Courses are designed to give animal carers the resources and confidence to care for animals in typical First Aid situations. The Course is presented by a Veterinary Professional or an Animal Aiders Trainer and whilst being no substitute for professional veterinary advice or care, should give you the resources for coping in a typical first aid situation.
Course Objectives: 
To deliver Animal First Aid information in a relaxed atmosphere.
To enable maximum ‘hands-on’ training and support.
To offer a forum for discussion of animal ailments.
How the course works:
A laptop presentation which lasts approximately 3 hours.
Each course is accompanied with a mobile shop so that attendees can buy first aid equipment. Also included during the course is a hands-on practical where participants can practice bandaging technicques and CPR under supervision.
Training manual and Certificate:
All attendees receive a training manual which summarises the course content and can be used as a guide in future First Aid situations. All attendees receive a certificate of attendance from
Animal Aiders.

Paula also runs classes on a Wednesday lunchtime at the Rothwell Parish Centre behind Salute and on Thursday lunchtime at Lofthouse Methodist Church.
