CHARITY RACE NIGHT
SATURDAY 3RD MARCH 7PM ONWARDS
Carlton Cricket Club, Town Street, Carlton, WF3 3QU
A fun evening of horseracing, friends and frolics, choose your winner and watch the televised races to see which horse comes home first. If you’ve never been to a race night before don’t worry! No form spotting skills are required just a good sense of humour.
This fundraiser for Phab kids will be a fun evening with plenty of laughs, and the bar will be open to celebrate your wins or drown your sorrows!!
Tickets are £5, there will be a raffle and a ‘Guess the time Kirsty will finish the London Marathon’ game’ plus the horse racing so bring some change!!

THE SALVATION ARMY BAND AND CHOIR

PUBLIC MEETING: STRAWBERRY FIELDS

Organised by Carlton Village Neighbourhood Forum and hosted by Save the Rhubarb Triangle, this meeting is open to all to discuss the Strawberry Fields proposed development of 129 houses on Oldroyd’s Farm. This is a chance to raise questions, get advice on the best way to object if you wish to, and meet local councillors and planners. Everyone is welcome.

This Tuesday sees the return of the Soup Lunch Club. If you eat alone and would like some company, then this is the place for you!
Join them for a relaxing chat, meet new people and even find a new friend.
Lunch will be served until 1pm, consisting of soup with fresh bread, a cake and a cup of tea
There is a suggested voluntary contribution of £2 per person, adults only (sorry no children.)

TIMEOUT ROTHWELL BEREAVEMENT GROUP – BREAKAWAY GROUP

Timeout Rothwell Bereavement Support Group is run by volunteers to help anyone who is trying to come to terms with loosing a loved one. They have all experienced the loss of a loved one at some time and are there to listen. If you’d like, you can always bring a friend with you for support.

ST RAPHAEL SINGERS

The St Raphael Singers are a 30 strong, mixed voice choir singing a variety of songs mostly pop arrangements and songs from the shows, who are looking for new members to join them.
