The Lego Club are meeting again this weekend, get the kids down for more fun and activities!
Free event, no booking required. Suitable for families.


TAKE BACK CONTROL OF CHRISTMAS
SATURDAY 14TH OCTOBER 11AM – 4PM
Briggate, Leeds City Centre

Christmas is an expensive time of the year, so why not find out how you can take back control of christmas spending. You can learn:

There will also be a Santa’s Grotto, live music and much more to lighten the mood!


A POSITIVELY PINK AFTERNOON
SATURDAY 14TH OCTOBER 1.30PM – 3PM
Rothwell Parish Hall, Church St, Rothwell, LS26 0QL

Help support a great cause and join in this Pink Afternoon. There’s plenty going on including live music from Jessica Mae Ivison and Emma White, plus enjoy a cake or two from the range of home-made cakes! There’ll also be a Tombola and Raffle, with some great prizes of Theatre Tickets, Afternoon Tea, Champagne and Luxury Handmade Hampers!

I think we all know someone how is or has been affected by cancer, so please please go along and make a difference. Entry is £8.00 and all funds raised will be donated to Jimmy’s Cancer Ward at Yorkshire Cancer Centre in Leeds.

COMMUNITY CLEAN AND ANTI-FRACKING AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
SUNDAY 15TH OCTOBER 1PM – 3PM
Woodlesford Lock, LS26 8PU

Co-hosted by Frack Free Leeds and Leeds Greenpeace, join in with the litter pick and awareness raising of the dangers of fracking.
All clean up equipment will be provided by the Canal and Riverside Trust, just bring yourselves and wear sensible clothing and shoes!
All welcome including children and fluffy dogs :-).


TIME OUT ROTHWELL
TUESDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER 10AM – 12NOON
Rothwell Baptist Church Community Centre, Wood Lane, Rothwell, LS26 0PG

The bereavement support group are meeting again this coming Tuesday. It’s a chance to meet new friends in a calm and friendly atmosphere and chat about ‘everything’.  The ‘chats’ are confidential; what’s said in the group, stays in the group….
