CHURWELL COMMUNITY CHOIR – The Oulton Institute, Oulton

A FDM charity fundraising concert (For Disability Mobility) aiming to raise money to provide affordable accessible transport and arrange social events to enable the vulnerable and isolated members of the community a more fulfilling life.

Refreshments are available and tickets are £4 – these can be purchased from the FDM office on Stone Brig Lane or the Hare & Hounds.

TUESDAY COFFEE MORNING – The Oulton Institute, Oulton


Fundraising morning featuring cupcakes by Diane’s Delights plus other delicious home made cakes and buns. Call in for a cuppa!

COSY CORNER CAFE – Woodlesford Methodist Church (opposite The Two Pointers)

The Cosy Corner Cafe has another of its regular meet ups (3rd Thursday of every month) and this Thursday they will be remembering May Celebrations gone by, a great opportunity to bring your memories and share with others.

Run by the Fair Exchange, the CCC is a community venture to help those in need of support, come along for a drink and chat!

FRIDAY 19TH MAY 7.00PM – 10.30PM
1940’s EVENING – Rothwell Parish Centre

Presented by DJ Deryck & Holy Trinity Church.
Tickets are £8 per person or you can take advantage of buying a family ticket for £20 (2 adults & 2 children).
The evening includes a Meat Pie supper followed by trifle or fruit salad. (Vegetarian options are available).

Fancy dress is optional, so why not get in the spirit and really relive the forties! There is a fully licensed bar and during the evening a raffle will be held.
